What is fungi?

Mushrooms are the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus that generally appears above ground. 

 

They link together by a network called mycelium. 

 

You can find them in fields, forests, and heavily wooded areas. 

Do not touch them as they may be poisonous.
